Don Bosco Our Papa,,,,,

This photo of Don Bosco was taken in 1885 when Don Bosco was 70 years old. He looks old, tired and worn out. His forehead is deeply furrowed. Don Bosco died on 31, January 1888. His was a life that was totally dedicated for the young. The doctor who examined him after his death remarked that he was like a candle that was completely consumed, because there was absolutely no more energy left in him! Today, the congregation that this simple priest founded, has grown up to be a mighty family with over 16,000 salesians working in more than 132 countries of the world.

Today all Salesians all over the world ask Don Bosco for the grace of being

“FAITHFULLY DYNAMIC AND DYNAMICALLY FAITHFUL.”
